My wife and I recently bought raw/undeveloped land in Avery County. After researching local builders and reviewing portfolios, we chose Vonco to trust with not only developing an initial site to live on with all utilities for our 5th wheel RV, but also are in the initial stages of working with them on our dream home that we hope to spend the rest of our lives in. While working with Vaughn, his wife, Rachel, and the rest of the staff, we feel respected, listened to, and even share our excitement about what we are planning. Communication is timely, constructive, and helpful. Invoices and receipts are complete and documentation of work done and work phases is thorough. If we had the money, we'd build a dozen homes with Vonco just for the fun of it.

This was the 6th home I have had built in my life, and it was the best experience I have ever had. First, Vaughn was incredibly attentive and responsive to our needs. Second, the craftsmanship and quality are outstanding. Third, he was really easy to work with, and made every change we requested without any hassle. Fourth, he is incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of construction, and offered great ideas on how best to build our home.

This company is professional, organized, and well run. We are in the midst of a remodel which Vonco is overseeing. All of the subcontractors they have used have been excellent!
