My wife and I recently bought raw/undeveloped land in Avery County. After researching local builders and reviewing portfolios, we chose Vonco to trust with not only developing an initial site to live on with all utilities for our 5th wheel RV, but also are in the initial stages of working with them on our dream home that we hope to spend the rest of our lives in. While working with Vaughn, his wife, Rachel, and the rest of the staff, we feel respected, listened to, and even share our excitement about what we are planning. Communication is timely, constructive, and helpful. Invoices and receipts are complete and documentation of work done and work phases is thorough. If we had the money, we'd build a dozen homes with Vonco just for the fun of it.

This company is professional, organized, and well run. We are in the midst of a remodel which Vonco is overseeing. All of the subcontractors they have used have been excellent! We bought an older home and used Vonco to remodel our master bath and do numerous other home improvements, like complete interior and exterior painting. The previous owners had used Vonco to cover the back deck and we really liked their craftsmanship. Working with the Vonco team from beginning to end was smooth and easy. As we met with Von and Rachel, his assistant, they listened to our desires and gave practical ideas to make our dreams come true. Communication is very important and Rachel reached out to us as needed and we can't say enough about how awesome she made the remodel experience. Any contractor is only as good as their subs and theirs are excellent, professional, detailed and neat. We have more projects and can't wait to use the Vonco team in the future.
